BARD IN THE BACOUNTRY NOMINATED FOR EMMY, National Distribution on American Public Television

We are happy to announce that Bard in the Backcountry now has national distribution with American Public Television. The show will be offered to all stations subscribed to APT beginning May 1, 2016. So keep an eye on your local station’s schedule to find out when you might catch the film on PBS! Better yet, call your local station and tell your local programmer you want to see Bard in the Backcountry!

Through this distribution deal we are also happy to announce that the national Public TV channel, World has picked up Bard in the Backcountry for a broadcast on Sunday May 15th at 10:30am MDT/12:30pm EDT. WORLD is carried by 72 licensees/155 stations across the U.S. as a standard definition digital multicast service.  The channel reaches 65.8% of U.S. TV Households.

A final bit of good news! Bard in the Backcountry is nominated for an EMMY award, Northwest region, Cultural Documentary category! Our original music by the super talented musician, Ian Hatton, is also nominated in the Sound category! Congrats to all who helped make this movie happen!
