Dark Hollow Films specializes in nontheatrical distribution of independent educational documentaries. Founded in 2010, we are committed to providing intelligent and thought-provoking films to the educational community. Our goal is to stimulate engaging conversations about important social and political issues facing all of us in the new millennium.
Tony Alosi is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and a member of the Writer’s Guild of America. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University in New York. With more than a decade of experience in the classroom, Tony has taught screenwriting and production at the University of Southern California and Chapman University. In 2010, he created Dark Hollow Films to provide a way for exceptional independent documentaries to be distributed to the educational community.
Karen Reed has more than sixteen years of experience in communications, branding and marketing. Major projects have included OpenTV, Time Warner, Time Warner Cable, Road Runner High Speed Online, WGBA-TV of Green Bay, ABC’s Good Morning America, Starband, Broadband Residential, fX, and Discovery Channel. She served as executive producer on the award-winning documentary, Eastern State: Living Behind the Walls.
